'The tree is gorgeous and just what I was looking for. Is totally natural and as it is driftwood, is recycled wood, which was again - what I was after. Did not want to use something that one minute was growing in a forest and the next, chopped down just for a couple of weeks of the year and then cast aside. It just seems such a waste.
Pete dealt with my enquiry really quickly, was more than accomodating and very generous and the tree reached me quickly - which is great, as anyone who knows me knows I am a very impatient Aries!!
It was easy to assemble - in fact, that made it more fun because I could put my branches, just how I wanted them. Then I got to dress it - which I tried to do using natural (by that I mean, not too commercialised) decorations - wood, leather, glass and tin and rope. We did a lot of entertaining over the festive period and EVERYONE without exception, loved the tree because it is "quirky and fun" - "just beautiful and natural and totally different". So much so, I am going to leave it up all year round as a decorative feature of my home - dressing it for all sorts of occasions - for Valentines day, Easter and Christmas again.
Pete at Beachlife has been a joy to deal with and possibly one of the nicest, most generous and helpful people I have ever dealt with. Thank you Pete!
